How Funding Works

What are you eligible for

Government backed grant funding is available as part of a scheme to reduce the average household carbon footprint, with the aim to hit a target of net zero emissions. This scheme has had further backing to help tackle fuel poverty. 

To qualify for a the grant funding you must be in receipt of a relevant benefit. 

      Eligible Benefits Under ECO4:​​

  • Income Based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA)

  • Income Related employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

  • Income Support (IS)

  • Pension Credit Guarantee Credit (PCGC)

  • Working Tax Credits (WTC)

  • Child Tax Credits (CTC)

  • Universal Credit (UC)

  • Housing Benefit

  • Pension Credit Saving Credit (PCSC)

  • Child Benefit (Housing Income Threshold Applies)*

*Where Child Benefit is used, we are required to collect a bank statement, payslip or PAS. To show that child benefit is being paid and that income is within the threshold.

We will require photographic proof of your qualifying benefit as part of our initial survey.

Property Survey

To complete any work via grant funding, a full survey of the property will be required to prove that the property meets all the funding criteria, for each individual measure.

The survey will be completed by fully qualified RETROFIT ASSESSORS.

To ensure the building is safe and check for any additional work that may be required to keep the work within regulation. (Be aware, that sufficient ventilation is required and certain measures may not be installed without it).

If required an EPC will also be completed for the property.
